The EVO 4 series from SANlight has been specially developed for the classic and widely used growbox of 80 x80cm, 100 x 100cm or 120 x 120cm. But also for other grow rooms with a depth of 80cm, 100cm or 120cm. The SANlight EVO 4 is the new benchmark for all home growers who want to get the most extreme light output from their grow box, and who are not afraid to use C0². This when 2 devices are used on your chosen surface. With two EVO 4-100s per square meter you will achieve the highest PPFD that your plants can handle in the flowering phase, supported by a CO² generator. During the growth phase, SANlight recommends switching on only one module, or working with a dimmer on the two modules for better light distribution. Due to the power of the light with 250W and 696µmol/s, the EVO 4-100 is not suitable for beginners when using 2 devices in limited space.

But no emergency: 1 device at full power also gives you the result on your chosen surface.

The Evo4 Series comes in 3 different sizes where the length of the device determines how far apart the light modules are. The price is the same for all lengths.

Facts and benefits of the new SANlight EVO series of LED grow lights:

Efficiency lets don't just express itself in numbers.
SANlight offers with the EVO series an advanced efficiency of more than 3µmol/J at the module level. During the development, however, practical effects were generally looked at: the focus was mainly on the possible yield per surface area and per time. During the research, based on our own experience, the spectrum was optimized as well as possible. The result is a broadband light range that goes far beyond the conventional PAR spectrum: The EVO LEDs offer a superior red/red ratio, which positively influences the photomorphogenesis* and thus also the quality and quantity of the harvest. 
(*: The photomorphogenesis process determines the appearance of a crop and leads to the final shape, color and flowering of the plant. This is largely genetically determined, but is controlled by light.)

Protection and light control

Connoisseurs of SANlight rely on the quality and durability of their products, which they have already have achieved double. And even today, SANlight remains true to those expectations and its high quality standards. For example, with all models, after 90,000 operating hours, the LED grow lights from SANlight only lose 10% of their luminous efficiency. The combination of a unique asymmetric secondary optical* distribution of light, with perfectly matched geometric shapes of the luminaires, ensures an above-average homegene distribution of light, with the best light density (PPFD or Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density). The smart design of the EVO series minimizes the loss and waste of photons during their journey to the plants while protecting the LEDs from environmental influences to which the modules are exposed during a homegrow. For example, it is not possible for sulfur and other chemicals to enter the luminaire, which can cause oxidation of the LED chip reflector. The LED bars are also easy to clean, which guarantees a longer lifespan and more constant light output. (*Secondary optics have 4 different tasks: Light control, light distribution, homogenization of light and light mixing.)

Refined technique

SANlight has selected the very best for us home growers from the almost obscure range of LEDs available on the global market today. When it comes to the red and far-red spectrum LEDs, SANlight, as they have been doing for years, goes for the all the best and newest OSRAM High Power LEDs. In the white LED spectrum, the convincing and patented WICOP technology from Seoul Semiconductor has been chosen. The LEDs manufactured with this technology are characterized by exceptional robustness and the best efficiency due to the absence of lead frames and silver.

Ready-to-dim

Each model in the EVO series is "ready to dim". In other words: all models are dimmable, and can be used with most regular or common control systems for home cultivation. It is also possible to control the EVO LEDs with a possible magnetic or Bluetooth dimmer from SANlight itself. Compared to standard rotary potentiometers, SANlight dimmers are wear-resistant and unaffected by humidity or water.
